Munich's high-caliber open-air classical music festival
Classical Music at Odeonsplatz stands for music of the highest standard in a unique atmosphere. Since its inception in 2000, two of Munich's top orchestras, the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Munich Philharmonic, have been performing with world-famous soloists on one weekend in July in one of Europe's most magnificent squares. The event is organized by Bavarian Radio and the City of Munich.
The event has a capacity of 14,000 seats and has been sold out in advance in recent years.

The best way to reach the venue is by public transport:
Subway lines: U3 / U6 / U4 / U5 – Stop: Odeonsplatz.
The paid ticket can be used as an MVV ticket in zones M – 6 under the usual conditions (outward journey from 3 p.m. on the day of the concert, return journey until 6 a.m. the following day). The following applies to Print@Home and PDF tickets: The purchaser (listed on the ticket) must be present in person during the journey and must be able to identify themselves with official ID if necessary. If several tickets have been booked, the group must use the MVV together; in this case, the purchaser must prove with the payment receipt that the size of the group corresponds to the ticket order.
Please do not travel by car, as there are no parking facilities at Odeonsplatz.
Doors open: 6:30 p.m.
Concert starts: 8:00 p.m.
Intermission: approx. 35 minutes
Concert ends: approx. 10:15 p.m.
